Attacks cease, for first time in 2 months

For the first time in over two months, Syria Weekly recorded zero Iranian proxy attacks targeting U.S. forces in Syria and Iraq, with the last attack coming on October 31, when several suicide drones were directed towards the al-Omar oil field base in Deir ez Zour, triggering interceptions. The calm that has prevailed since November 1 comes after a significant two month period of escalation, during which 22 attacks occurred in Syria and 2 in Iraq.
